Early Purple Sprouting Broccoli

Finally! My Early Sprouting Purple Broccoli produced something edible. After having it in the ground for at least a year now and constantly battling with it encroaching along the path, I managed to actually eat it.
I'm not sure I will grow this one again. Or maybe I'll start it later in the fall for the following spring. Then it will truly live up to its name.
